Waterproof and concrete solutions at Evolving Concrete

  • 6 May 2015

Evolving Concrete will be held in response to industry demand for an event targeting specifiers, contractors, consultants and architects.

Sika will have a strong presence at the show taking place on the 6th and 7th May.

Sika’s stand (V3) has been designed to intrigue visitors – a ‘concrete’ box constructed of MDF coated in Sikalastic waterproofing.

It will feature narrow windows cut into the box, providing glimpses of solutions offered by the company, from concrete protection to refurbishment.

The stand’s form, with the solutions hidden within the box, alludes to the fact that Sika’s products are normally hidden underground or within the building fabric.

Sika’s exhibit will focus on its positioning as a solutions provider as well as to inform visitors on its full range of capabilities – bringing together its concrete and waterproofing teams to showcase solutions at the event which bridge both areas in addressing client requirements.

The company will display solutions from waterproofing innovations, fibre concrete and durable concrete options, to cement enhancers which provide possibilities for greater sustainability.

“Sika is an active member of the Concrete Society, as an industry leader in the sector, and we very much welcome the Society’s addition of a new show which puts the focus on concrete solutions for specifiers, contractors, architects and consultants,” said Yassar Altaf, Marketing Manager of Concrete & Waterproofing at Sika.

“Evolving Concrete gives us the opportunity to display our full range of innovative solutions to a wide range of visitors at a key London location and we are looking forward to meeting them on stand V3.”

Evolving Concrete is being held on the 6th and 7th May at the Business Design Centre in Islington.
