Waterproofing system ensures longevity of roof at Salvation Army

  • 18 Sep 2014

Sikalastic 625, which has a 10 year material guarantee, was used alongside the companyís solutions to ensure the longevity and protection of the roof during bad weather conditions.

Each bolt head and fixing was bridged with Sika Flexistrip and installed with Sika Reemat Premium patches which were pre-cut to requirements, enhancing the buildings exterior appearance.

Sikaís roofing contractor, Heartfelt Roofing, was specified to work on the project, with the company discounting their labour and materials in order to help the charity with costs.

The food bank provides meals to people in financial difficulty and was opened earlier in 2014 by the leader of The Salvation Army in the UK and Ireland, Commissioner Clive Adams.
