‘Agora’ is a painted abstract design by Richard Wentworth. Developed to cover the entire floor of a car park roof, it is leading a series of exhibitions, which are being staged across London by Bold Technologies.
The exhibitions were created to represent the changing weather conditions in which car park roofs are exposed to.
Richard Wentworth compared several weatherproof paint products before beginning to work on the exhibitions.
Johnstone’s Aluminium Paint was deemed the most suitable and specified for use in the project.
With a protective metal finish, the solvent-based paint can withstand temperatures up to 150ºC. It also offers solar reflective properties, which made it suitable for the exhibitions.
