  • 29 Nov 2017

Western Thermal Ltd has been awarded three major acoustic insulation projects at London’s 190 The Strand, Wharf Studios in London, and Merrion House in Leeds.

Having contributed to various landmark projects over the years, the company engineers thermal and acoustic insulation, ductwork, ventilations, trace heating, and fire stopping, and focuses on the provision of high quality insulation and soundproofing solutions to buildings.

The work on 190 The Strange will include the acoustic lagging of the horizontal and vertical soil and ventilation pipe System. Whereas, the work on Wharf Studios involves the installation of acoustic sheeting to duct work, rainwater systems and bespoke acoustically lined insulation jackets fitted to its variable refrigerant flow systems.

Western Thermal’s Acoustic division provides soundproofing solutions to building services, including residential developments, leisure centres and hospitals, mainly through encasing vertical and horizontal soil and ventilation pipe systems and rainwater pipe systems.

Thanks to its long-standing relationships with the industry’s leading suppliers, manufacturers and distributors, the company is able to offer a variety of acoustic materials and product data. Furthermore, Western Thermal’s specialist ductwork systems also use acoustic treatment.
