Wetherby Building Systems: Chartist House, Hyde

  • 8 Jun 2023

Chartist House in Hyde is a 18-storey high rise building of 38 one bedroom flats. It has undergone an external refurbishment and recladding, for the client Jigsaw Homes.

Architect BTP specified a range of Wetherby systems for the build. Casey were the Main Contractor for the project and Wetherby recognised applicators Hamilton Building Contractor installed the range of systems.

The no fines building was upgraded with 100mm Stone Wool Insulation and Dry Dash finish in two colours. Four Seasons Thin Coat Render was used in RAL 7015 to the lettering areas and 9mm Brick Slips in R700 Cannon Blue.  These were finished with Dark Grey Pointing Mortar to the ground floor area to compliment the other grey shade finishes.
