Wetherby Building Systems has been appointed to procurement specialist Fusion 21’s ‘Supply of Retrofit and Associated Products’ framework.
Worth an estimated £100 million over a four year period, the national framework will supply energy efficient materials to local authorities and social housing providers in addition to commercial organisations.
Wetherby is one of 20 material suppliers which has been appointed to the framework. It has secured a place on; ‘Lot 2: External Wall Insulation’ and ‘Lot 4: Internal Wall Insulation Measures & Air Tightness’. Other lots awarded within the framework include heat pumps, biomass, energy efficient lighting and mechanical heat ventilation recovery.
Wetherby has been a provider of solid wall insulation to the public sector for the past 20 years. Through the Fusion 21 framework, Wetherby can supply a range of its external and internal wall insulation solutions, specifically developed to work with a range of traditional and non-traditional properties and construction types.
Fusion21 framework manager John Farley commented: “Fusion21 members accessing this framework will benefit from greater efficiency savings when purchasing high quality retrofit materials – available to install directly or have fitted via an approved installer.
We look forward to working with Wetherby as a material supplier, supporting our national Retrofit Framework, which adopts a ‘whole house’ approach to retrofit.”
Wetherby’s sales director Paul Kirkby added: “We are delighted to have been appointed to this framework. We have an enviable reputation for successfully delivering public sector projects, having supplied our systems to some of the UK’s largest social housing regeneration projects over the last two decades, and this win is testament to that.
We are looking forward to building on the public sector schemes we are already involved with and embarking on some new projects as part of this framework agreement.”
