WF Senate will supply new Google owned Nest Protect products

  • 22 Dec 2014

Nest Labs home automation company

Nest Labs home automation company was acquired by Google.

It designs and manufactures sensor-driven, Wi-Fi enabled, self learning, programmable thermostats and smoke detectors, such as the Nest Learning Thermostat and Nest Protect.

Nest Protect

  • advanced smoke and Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarm
  • provides spoken alerts on what and where the problem is

Communicating with other alarms in the system, even when Wi-Fi is unavailable, Nest Protect will also automatically send a message to Nest Thermostat to turn off the boiler, should it sense CO.

Nest Learning Thermostat

  • uses exclusive combination of sensors and algorithms
  • creates a personalised temperature schedule, which eliminates the need for a separate programmer

Nest Learning Thermostat adapts immediately and creates a custom temperature, which will automatically turn down when the thermostat senses the house is empty, dramatically saving energy.

Featuring a free application called Nest app, users can easily retrieve information and control all Nest products whilst on the move, from any Smart phone or tablet.

New Nest range now available from WF Senate

Available in both mains powered and battery formats, the new Nest range now available from WF Senate is being supported by a full advertising and marketing campaign, run by Nest Labs.

Ivan Gill, National Sales & Commercial Manager for Citadel:  “This is a really exciting venture for WF Senate, as it will enable us to bring customers the very latest advances in innovative technology”.
