With over 650 exhibitors expected to attend UK Construction Week, it is set to be the largest gathering of the built environment community.
The show will take place at the NEC Birmingham from 10-12 October and will feature the Build Show, Timber Expo, Civils Expo, Plant & Machinery Live, Surface & Materials Show, and more.
In addition, exhibitors at the show will include Easy-Trim, ROCKWOOL, VELUX, Screwfix, N Power among others. Plus, there is a long list of international names expected at the show as well as international pavilions from Turkey, China, Belarus & Poland.
Those interested in new ways of working, sustainable products and evolving technologies, will enjoy The Innovation Trail. Whilst those interested in learning about the built environment and better information management should look to visit the BIM Prospects Theatre hosted by BRE.
The show is also offering the pod home concept from Estonia’s ÖÖDHOUSE at the Surface & Materials Show, demonstrating how quickly and easily timer and glass structures can be constructed.
In addition, on the Tuesday visitors will get the opportunity to join BSI at its Construction Forum, exploring some of the key trends coming up in the built environment.
Free CPD advice will be available at the show, covering changes to legislation on safety, guidance on products safety, and fire prevention strategies.
On Wednesday IEMA’s Skills & Sustainable Infrastructure Conference will launch its latest research report, exploring the role that sustainability skills are playing in enabling the ‘UK’s Golden Age of Infrastructure’.
Various celebrity chairs and speakers will host discussions, debates and seminars throughout the event.
Nathan Garnett, Event Director at Media 10, which runs the show, said: “We can’t wait to be back at the Birmingham NEC for our third year. We anticipate that this year’s UK Construction Week will be our biggest and boldest yet, with a stellar line-up of speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and products, in addition to a packed agenda that will drive and inspire conversation over the course of the three days.”
