Which? ‘Retailer of the Year’ Award presented to Toolstation

  • 3 Jun 2016

Toolstation has been named ‘Retailer of the Year 2016’ at the 10th annual Which? Awards, which took place at the end of May.

The Which? Awards aim to recognise the brands that work hard to satisfy their customers. As brands are unable to nominate themselves, winners are selected according to Which?’s High Street Shop judging criteria: this includes exceptional customer service, innovation, improvement and value.

Toolstation achieved a five star rating in almost every category; a considerable achievement for a DIY store. Its win follows its success in the Which? Online Shops Survey 2015, in which it was named the top brand in the DIY and Decorating category.

The company also achieved the joint top position in the 2016 Which? Annual Shops Survey. It shares this accolade with John Lewis.

The judges praised Toolstation’s pricing, ease and convenience; its win was announced at a London-based ceremony on Wednesday 25th May. The brand is rapidly expanding, boasting a network of over 220 local branches across the UK, a dedicated call centre and website. It attributes its multiple award successes to its commitment to customer service.
