Wide soffit gets woodgrained with Freefoam

  • 29 Jun 2018

Freefoam Building Products have announced the addition of four beautiful woodgrain finishes to its Wide 605mm Soffit Range.

The wide General Purpose Board is a popular choice on many contemporary house styles, and joins the range as part of Freefoam’s continuing support of its customers servicing the Housebuilder.

Available in a choice of Rosewood, Light Oak, Black Ash and Anthracite Grey, the woodgrain finish allows for a fully coordinated roofline.

The Freefoam woodgrain range is made to last, using marketing leading Renolit Exofol MX foil that features Solar Shield Technology, a technology to provide built in UV protection, to reduce heat absorption, temperature build up and expansion; all allowing Freefoam to offer a ten year guarantee on all woodgrain fascia and soffit.

Colour for external PVC products such as windows, doors, balconies, fascia and guttering has been a major style change in the new build market in the last five years.

Ever more so, house builders are using colour to bring style and definition to developments and utilising colour elements as a cost effective way to add a contemporary feel to house and apartment developments.

Freefoam’s long term commitment to colour, which they made right at the start of this trend, has seen them embrace new ways of manufacturing and ensuring that colour and woodgrain facia and soffit are available across the entire range.

Colin St John, UK General Manager, commented: “We have established ourselves as leaders in the manufacture of colour PVC roofline so monitor the marketplace to ensure our product range is meeting new trends and demands.

“Research and customer feedback has led us to add this wide soffit in woodgrain colours which will ensure that our range gives housebuilders and domestic installers the products they need to meet this growing demand.”
