Wienerberger, is continuing its ongoing sponsorship of the Guild of Bricklayers competitions in 2017.
The Guild was founded in 1932, aiming to promote and maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship in brickwork. Wienerberger will donate over 60,000 bricks over the duration of the competition.
15th March saw the competition start with the West Midlands regional round, travelling the UK before culminating with the final competition taking place in Derbyshite on 21st June.
Supporting the next generation of skilled tradespeople is a core aim for Wienerberger, according to Richard Brown, Wall Category Marketing Manager at Wienerberger. He also commented that the company is proud to be encouraging young workers within the industry to reach their peak.
National Competition Secretary at the Guild of Bricklayers, Dennis Westwood said Wienerberger has been a constant supporter of the Guild of Bricklayers competitions for many years now, having donated large quantities of products to our competitions.
