Wienerberger new online service sure to help merchants maximise

  • 1 Aug 2018

Wienerberger introduces Load Builder, an innovative new service to help builders’ merchants manage their brick stock and storage space.

This speedy and simple to use online tool gives Wienerberger’s merchant customers the opportunity to create a bespoke load, by mixing and matching products from an extensive selection of facing bricks, engineering bricks and special shaped bricks to fit their requirements.

Merchants can select smaller quantities of each product, meaning they can order a large range of product in more manageable loads to better suit their yard capacity.

Load Builder users simply select one of the hubs from Wienerberger’s national network and build their own custom load from the options on offer.

The stock at each hub has been chosen based on local market requirements, including bricks manufactured at different locations, not just the nearest factory, so a variety of products are available.

This means a mixed-load delivery can be transported from one location in a single vehicle, helping with efficiency, reducing lead times and lowering its carbon footprint.

Load Builder means merchants can enjoy greater flexibility when ordering stock, as well as being able to stock a wider variety of bricks and having greater control of their costs.

This tool cuts out merchants needing to buy more stock than necessary, which can take up all important yard space and increase capital costs.

This also allows merchants to experiment with different products by ordering them in smaller quantities.

With a solution as simple as shopping online, Load Builder makes the brick ordering process even easier for merchants and showcases Wienerberger’s company-wide commitment to driving performance through technology.

Users build their mixed load online, enter some details and await a quick follow up quote from Wienerberger’s customer services team.

Richard Brown, Category Marketing Manager for Wall products at Wienerberger, said Load Builder was developed to help merchant customers tackle three big issues; product offering, space restrictions and cost control.

“Our service enables merchants to offer a wider variety of bricks, whilst keeping their costs to a minimum and generating the best return on their yard space,” he said.

“We’re really excited about the launch of Load Builder and look forward to hearing feedback from our customers.”
