Wienerberger has recently been involved with a Royal Horticultural Society award winning project with landscaper Ula Marie Bujauskaite.

rhs 4The outdoor workspace design ‘Studio Unwired’ has been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society’s Young Designer 2017 Gold Medal award. Wienerberger supplied its Orion Tegel TF pavers for the outdoor workspace.

Ula’s design aims to create spaces that have a positive impact on the lives of those who inhabit them. A contemporary outdoor hot-desk was created combining the tranquility of nature with positive wellbeing in an urban, rustic environment.

Ula explained that Wienerberger’s team was great at understanding her design aspirations and providing her with a variety of options and possibilities to enhance the quality of the space that she was creating.

rhs 3She comments: “Wienerberger understood that I was relying on its pavers to pull my design together, whilst also complementing the other materials so that the project flowed. The team offered a wealth of product expertise, and it was really refreshing to work with such a creative company.

Wienerberger’s Orion Tegel FT pavers blended into the overall colour palette of the project whilst enriching the garden’s distinctive coastal character.

Ula concludes: “I really enjoyed being on site throughout the entirety of the show and seeing the project turn from a concept into reality. I had thought about the smallest detail of the garden ever since I sketched it up on paper and it was great to finally see it go live and share it with the other attendees.”
