Wienerberger swoops Travis Perkins supplier of year award

  • 29 Jan 2018

Wienerberger could not have asked for a better start to the new year, as they have bagged the much-coveted Supplier of the Year for 2017 award from the UK’s largest building merchant, Travis Perkins.

The UK’s leading provider of wall, roof and landscaping solutions won the award by collecting the highest number of votes from Travis Perkins’ senior management teams.

This was due to a number of reasons, from impressive sales growth to successful new customer ranging, plus a strong charity partnership and a whole lot more.

The beginning of the process saw over a thousand suppliers whittled down to just the 32 top performing companies.

2017 saw Wienerberger showcase phenomenal sales performance, whilst boasting a lofty level of customer service by amiable and polite professionalism.

It also saw the start of an initiative which resulted in double-digit sales growth for Travis Perkins branches.

This award shows Wienerberger’s ever-present commitment and dedication throughout every area of the business, praising the effectiveness of its workforce and the togetherness in their operations.

Keith Wright, Category Director at Travis Perkins, honoured Wienerberger for ‘demonstrating a real commitment to improving the way their products are packaged’ as well as their support of the company’s charity work with Macmillan.
