  • 20 Jul 2016

Under a recently signed a Mandated Supplier Agreement with Willmott Dixon, IKO UK Group will supply roofing systems from its Polymeric and plc divisions for all future projects.

Boasting a £1bn turnover, Willmott Dixon provides construction and property services, covering commercial, domestic and public sector building and development. It also offers interior fit-outs, repair, energy services and maintenance work.

Sole supplier to Willmott Dixon

IKO Group has worked alongside the company for a number of years. Both share an environmental ethos: having been carbon neutral since 2012, Willmott Dixon was recently named Construction News’ ‘Sustainable Constructor of the Year’, whilst IKO Group’s three UK-based plants have obtained the ISO 14001 environmental management standard and BES 6001 for responsible sourcing of construction products.

Under the new Mandated Supplier Agreement, IKO Polymeric will supply its Spectraplan TPE and Armourplan PVC single ply membranes for future Willmott Dixon roofing projects; IKO plc will supply its range of bituminous roofing systems PermaTEC hot melt, Permaphalt mastic asphalt and IKO Polimar cold applied liquids.

An online hub with a product system selector has been developed to match IKO Business Managers with projects, based on geographical location. IKO Group endeavours to help with specifications, surveys, training and installation on Willmott Dixon projects, when required.

The Mandated Supplier Agreement cements the strong partnership between the two, granting IKO Group sole supplier status.
