World’s largest Mini dealership chooses Johnstone’s

Using Johnstone’s Trade products in a distinctive black and orange, Rotherham-based decorators Renaissance created a finish designed to mirror the Mini brand’s corporate colours. The project was completed ahead of schedule in just five weeks.

In addition to the large showroom and forecourt, the building now features a workshop, coffee bar and timeline, detailing the history of the iconic Mini brand.

For exterior cladding, almost 160 litres of Johnstone’s Steel and Cladding in black was applied to provide protection from corrosion, to ensure the building will continue to stand out for years to come.

Over 200 litres of Johnstone’s Covaplus Vinyl Matt was specified in both off-white and orange and applied to the dealership’s interior to showcase the cars on show, with a finish free from flashing.

Nick Jones of Renaissance said: ñOur client was extremely demanding during the project therefore we knew using Johnstone’s products would be a wise choice as its products have quality that we can rely on. Johnstone’s products left an outstanding finish which received a letter of recognition from the UK operations director of Sytner Group worldwide.î

As well as receiving praise from the client for the quality of finish achieved, the Renaissance team were also shortlisted for the Johnstone’s Painter of the Year 2015 award.
