Senior extends PURe® range with new parallel push window

  • 16 Jul 2019

Senior Architectural Systems has announced the extension of its PURe® range of ultra-low U-value aluminium windows with the addition of a new parallel push option.

The PURe® parallel push aluminium windows offer customers balanced airflow and ventilation as well as maximum safety due to the restricted opening.

With a patented thermal barrier manufactured from expanded polyurethane (PUR) foam, the PURe® parallel push aluminium window boasts exceptional low U-values and high thermal performance.

The new window option is able to receive double or triple glazing up to 57mm for maximum thermal and acoustic performance and can achieve U-values as low as 0.90 W/m²K when calculated as a commercial CEN standard window.

With hinges on all sides of the frame, the window can be easily pushed open and yet will remain parallel to the wall. This enables rooms to be safely ventilated, with the limited opening helping to reduce the risk of falls from the window.

Aesthetically, the use of push parallel style windows can also help to create a more uniform façade and the new PURe® window option is fully compatible with the full range of Senior’s slim profile aluminium curtain walling system for seamless integration.

The new parallel push option is the latest configuration to be added to Senior’s popular PURe® aluminium window range, with existing options including casement, tilt and turn and reversible overswing. Thanks to Senior’s reliable and high-quality in-house powder coating service, all of the company’s aluminium fenestration solutions can also be specified in an almost limitless spectrum of colours and a vast array of finishes.

Finally, the new PURe® parallel push aluminium window is also easy to fabricate and install and is highly durable and easy to maintain, with a life expectancy in excess of 40 years.
