Garador has launched Duragrain, an exciting development in Garador’s sectional garage doors meaning, for the first time, a choice of imitative finishes can be printed directly onto the steel surface panels of a garage door.
Garador’s Duragrain is based on new printing technology, which means instead of the traditional paint and timber effect finishes for garage doors, customers can now choose a natural stone, an authentic wood or even a metal design, which is printed directly to the surface of the garage door giving an impressive new look for any property.
In Garador’s new Duragrain range, there are 24 decorative colour finishes, including five realistic natural stone decors, 18 authentic treated timber decors and one metal décor.
Paul Eddleston, Garador’s Marketing Manager, commented: “Duragrain has been in development for a number of years, but we think it has been well worth the wait and the results are really quite exceptional.”
All of these new finishes have been engineered to last, with the inclusion of a protective Duragrain coating on the outside of the door.
This protective coating is scratch-resistant, defending the underlying print from the effects of weathering and any little knocks life throws at it.
These inks used to print the decors are UV-resistant and colourfast, meaning that they won’t fade or wash out over time.
Duragrain will only be available on Garador’s Premium Linear Large sectional door styles.
This great looking door already offers a number of advantages including excellent thermal insulation properties with 42mm insulated door sections, sturdy rubber seals on the base, sides and fascia of the door, as well as the black plastic frame leg plate to protect against corrosion. All 24 of the new finishes are now available on this door.
