Mind-blowing Makita garden machinery

  • 17 Feb 2020

Makita has added a new range of products to its cordless garden machinery line up, including the DUB184Z Brushless Blower LXT.

Powered by one Makita 18V battery, the cordless blower will get the job done with simplicity, offering more flexibility for operators.

Ideal for gardeners, maintenance staff, landscapers and homeowners, the new, powerful, 52.1 m/s air speed, cordless blower comes with variable speed control, constant speed control, and a cruise control feature that allows users to set the desired air speed, thus eliminating the need to hold the trigger, which provides more user comfort over long periods.

The DUB184Z Brushless Blower LXT also benefits from an ergonomic design, with an optimum grip-to-frame angle that creates the ideal nozzle to ground angle, for efficient and comfortable operation.

In addition, the machine is extremely lightweight, with a weight of just 3kg, even with the 18V Lithium-Ion battery attached, accommodating for use over extended periods of time.

The machine also uses Makita’s Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™), which provides increased resistance to moisture and water droplets, therefore making this tool suitable and durable for year round use in outdoor environments.

Mark Earles, Business Development Manager for garden machinery at Makita, commented: “Garden machinery is often thought of as being heavy duty, and as a result, can make grounds or garden maintenance seem a much more arduous task.

“We wanted to dispel this and make tasks easier for a range of end users, from landscapers to homeowners.

“Therefore, our cordless DUB184Z Brushless Blower is the ultimate in convenience and comfort to use. Powered by a single 18V Makita battery, the machine also benefits from a brushless motor, which means a significantly longer lifespan of the machine and longer battery life.”
