Delta Membranes has been named as a finalist in the Innovation of the Year category at the National Building and Construction Awards 2020.
Delta believes the name of these awards is very apt, as the company believe it is all about investing in talent, best practice and
innovative design within the building and construction industry.
The awards garner hundreds of entries nationwide, so being named a finalist means a company is truly amongst the best in the
industry.
The National Building and Construction Awards consist of 23 categories, with all entries assessed by a panel of up to four judges.
David J Symes, Delta’s director, commented: “As a responsible employer and manufacturer, we constantly have to think outside the
box. From Sustainability to Declaration of performances to the Mental wellbeing of staff.
“Since Delta first embarked on its flood resilience concepts with the BRE Flood Resilience Home, we’ve invested a great deal into developing this and making preventative and mitigating resources available to all.
“We have the tools, we have the knowledge, we have the products – there is no reason why flood resilience, resistance and recoverability aren’t the norm for households who are at risk of flooding.
“As my fellow Directors will agree, all staff at Delta feel empowered by the acquisition of knowledge and the opportunity of working for a market leading innovative organisation.
“The company ethos and policy of staff development and investing in people and in development sectors such as ground gas protection or flood resilience gives rise to a feeling of pride in worthy endeavours and a desire to rise through the company. Great effort #TeamDelta.”
Delta is now looking forward to the awards ceremony and offered its congratulations to all other finalists too.
