Following the success of Newton Waterproofing’s first live CPD event, Newton Technical Director Richard Crossley will be delivering the company’s second, RIBA-approved CPD webinar on Wednesday 5 August at 1pm.
Newton Waterproofing Systems’ RIBA approved, double-points CPD seminar, ‘A Designers Guide to Type C Internal Basement Waterproofing to BS 8102:2009’, will focus on giving designers and specifiers a guide to the features and benefits of internal cavity drain waterproofing.
With more than 25 years of experience in the waterproofing industry, Richard will provide an overview of waterproofing design requirements, in accordance with current legislation, including:
– The evolution of Type C internal cavity drain waterproofing.
– The importance of the requirement for maintainability within BS 8102:2009.
– Related sustainability issues.
– The importance of using specialist waterproofing designers and contractors.
The presentation will last approximately 45 minutes and will end with a Q&A session, giving participants the opportunity to discuss the CPD material in greater detail with Richard.
