Following the success of Newton Waterproofing‘s live CPD events last year, Newton Technical Director Richard Crossley will be delivering the company’s first monthly RIBA approved CPD webinar of 2021, on Tuesday 9 March at 1pm.
Newton Waterproofing Systems’ RIBA approved, double-points CPD seminar on ‘Structural Waterproofing Design Strategies to BS 8102:2009’ will focus on the different forms of structural waterproofing systems on the market.
With more than 25 years of experience in the waterproofing industry, Richard will give an overview of how to waterproof so that the environmental grades required within BS8102:2009 are achieved. This includes…
– How combination waterproofing systems are specified for below-ground environments on both new-build and existing structures.
– Discussion on how different waterproofing designs interface with below ground structures.
The presentation will last around 45 minutes and will draw to a close with a Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to discuss the CPD material in greater detail with Richard.

If you cannot join the live webinar, but would still like to watch the CPD, email training@newtonwaterproofing.co.uk to get access to Newton’s free 18-minute CPD video, that you can watch at a time more convenient for you.
Once the webinar is complete, Newton will also provide all attendees with a training certificate as proof of attendance.
