New Marmox Natural Slicedstone Veneer Sheets

  • 5 Apr 2023

Marmox UK Ltd launches an addition to its Slicedstone range. New Slicedstone Veneers offer a natural stone finish in a thin and flexible sheet.

For architects and interior designers looking to combine reliability with visual appeal, the Marmox Slicedstone Veneers range is the perfect solution in areas requiring dependable and durable performance.

The range is ideal for bathrooms, wetrooms and any other room in the building or as an external cladding. Slicedstone Veneers are also suitable for coating doors & furniture, including garden furniture.

They come in three sizes – Small (1220 x 610mm), Medium (2100 x 1050mm) & Large (2400 x 1050mm). The product’s slimline form, at just 4 (±1.5) mm thick and supplied on a specially formulated decoupling layer, means they are still applicable to curved surfaces, both indoors and out.

‘Very excited’

Grant Terry, Marketing Manager for Marmox, comments: “We at Marmox are very excited by the interest customers have shown in this new product, as well as its many design possibilities. It offers the beauty of natural Indian stone, in a practical, easy to install solution.

“Weighing just 2.5 – 3.0kg per square metre, they are flexible, easy to cut and they fit well into Marmox UK’s growing range of products!”

Utilising the latest technology, Slicedstone Large Format Veneer Sheets are cut from the surface of Indian sedimentary rock. Re-engineering then takes place with a stabilised backing.

The natural stone blend substrate is treated with a clear polycarbonate solution to offer a flexible surface that is both stable and fully resistant to water as well as being stain resistant. This allows for the easy removal of grout and adhesive residue.

In comparison to traditional tiles, Slicedstone uses just a fraction of stone to get the desired finish. This means savings take place in transportation costs and also in the demand on natural resources.
