Encon Appoints New Regional Fire Protection Manager

The Encon Group, the UK’s leading independent building materials distributor, appoints Joe Hindmarch as its new Regional Fire Protection Manager for the Midlands & North.

Joe is responsible for providing passive fire protection support to customers in the region, as well as Encon’s internal and external sales teams.

In his region, Joe will work closely with Encon’s North East, Leeds, North West, Wrexham, Nottingham and Birmingham branches to support customers with the products, knowledge and guidance they need for their projects. Customers include specialist fire protection contractors, drylining contractors, main building contractors, housebuilders and builders’ merchants.

Joe’s industry experience with building materials manufacturers provides a grounding for his role at Encon, while he also looks forward to growing his specialist knowledge with industry qualifications from the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE).

Joe comments: “I’m looking forward to strengthening my expertise in such a vital area for our industry. I’m aware of Encon’s reputation for outstanding service and knowledgeable teams, particularly in passive fire protection where Neville White and Chelsea Green [Regional Fire Protection Manager – London & South East] have been doing such great work.
