Effective ventilation explored in new Learning Guide

  • 4 Aug 2015

If a building is not ventilated effectively, its fabric can deteriorate and its inhabitants can be at risk of Toxic Home Syndrome.

NTG’s Learning Guides aim to ‘Educate to Inspire through Lifelong Learning’

The Ventilation Learning Guide has been developed to train and educate kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry workers on the best use of ventilation.

Effective ventilation

The guide explains why effective ventilation is essential: it allows for the longevity of a home, whilst ensuring that the health of its occupants is not affected by poor indoor air quality.

An assortment of continuous, whole house and intermittent ventilation solutions are explored in the guide, and the optimum installation zones for specific options are explained.

Airflow Developments has worked closely with the National Training Group (NTG) to create the guide, which offers comprehensive information.

The NTG comprises manufacturers, businesses and individuals, all dedicated to providing educational materials and support services for those working within the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry.
