Saint-Gobains Multi-Comfort home improvement concept has been developed to make buildings more comfortable and sustainable
Saint-Gobain developed its Multi-Comfort building concept in response to the fact that the average human being can spend around 90% of their time indoors.
Because of this, the buildings people live and work in have a huge impact on their health and wellbeing, as well as their comfort.
A Multi-Comfort building combines thermal comfort and energy performance to keep the house warm in the winter and cool in the summer whilst reducing energy consumption.
Multi-Comfort also focuses on providing a better quality of interior air to improve health and acoustic control to reduce noise pollution.
Multi-Comfort buildings will also benefit from natural lighting and modular safety.
Saint-Gobain has combined these factors with the aim of creating a sustainable and comfortable environment for people to live and work in.
At Ecobuild, Saint-Gobain will be providing more information about its Multi-Comfort home improvement concept.
There, the company will be distributing design guides with construction and junction details that have been verified by the BRE.
Ecobuild 2015 will be hosted at ExCel London next week, commencing on 3rd March and finishing on 5th March.
