Glass surface repair detailed in new publication

‘Glass Repair Removal of Surface Damage from Glass’ emphasises the visual performance when the glass is viewed inside a building.

The GGF’s new publication offers details and information on glass surface repair

The data sheet addresses causes and types of glass surface and edge damage, as well as optical and visual quality across many types of glass including annealed, toughened, laminated and coated glass.

It then explains the repair process and method of assessment.

Renewed online presence

The ‘Glass Repair Removal of Surface Damage (Ref 5.15.1) from the data sheet is available for free download for all GGF Members from the Members’ Area of the GGF website.

Non-members of the GGF can buy this new product direct from the GGF Shop

The GGF Glass Repair Group is currently reviewing its online presence and plans to add three new sections on the GGF Website, including Industry Case Studies, Five Steps to Help Decide on Glass Repair, and a list of Frequently Asked Questions on glass repair.
