Reversible window from Spectus features 180 degree pivot

  • 20 Nov 2013

The window incorporates a deep bevelled 70mm profile with Spectus’ Elite 70 suite for compatibility.

The new Aeroframe barrier technology from the company has been incorporated into the five chamber profiles for improved thermal performance.

With a U-Value of 0.8, the window can achieve an A rating under the Window Energy Ratings scheme when glazed with argon filled double glazed units.

With PAS: 24:2012 accreditation, the reversible window also accompanies Spectus’ BES6001 system, giving additional points under the Code for Sustainable Homes or BREEAM.

The Window Systems come in a range of glazing unit options in 24mm, 28mm, 40mm and 44mm, in addition to a number of finishes.

The fully reversible window is designed for high and medium rise applications, whilst adding a second or third weather seal should aid thermal efficiency.
