Newton Waterproofing Systems has announced the introduction of two new products within its advanced range of System 100 Liquid Waterproofing Membranes.
The Newton 103-S is a cementious waterproofing membrane comprised of two-components and polymer-modified.
Boasting high adhesion and chemical resistance, the membrane is designed for the internal and external waterproofing of concrete and steel elements of water-retaining and water-resisting structures.
The product has been recently installed as part of an extensive renovation to the main fountain of a renowned stately home in Hertfordshire. The renovation featured a newly installed water sculpture, designed by British sculptor Angela Connor and fitted utilising the waterproofing properties of Newton 103-S.
The Newton 107F, the second product introduced into the System 100 Liquid Membrane range, is also a two-component, cementitous waterproofing membrane.
Its polymer-rich composition enables the product to maintain its elastomeric properties, even under immersed conditions. This makes it ideal for applications where the structure has both masonry and concrete elements, and where differential movement can be expected.
Newton 107F was recently installed as the internal waterproofing membrane in the basement area of Christian Dior’s outlet in New Bond Street, Central London.
Warren Muschialli, Newton Waterproofing Systems’ Managing Director, commented: “Technically advanced waterproofing membranes such as Newton 103-S and 107F provide specific solutions and a wide-range of potential benefits, as Newton actively seeks to provide our customers with complete product systems, and the knowledge and technical support required in order to apply them.”
Newton has also created a series of new video tutorials for both the 103-S and 107F systems, filmed at its training facilities in Tonbridge, Kent.
The videos explain the methods required in order to effectively apply both products.
