Following an increase in customer demand, Stelrad has introduced a new variation of its Planar radiator: Heavy Duty Planar.
Designed for heavy duty commercial applications, such as hospitals or industrial buildings, the heating product boasts the ability to withstand potential higher impact situations.
By making the casing more robust, Stelrad has created a product which will suffer minimal damage when clashing with passing people, trolleys, wheelchairs and small vehicles.
It offers the same slender, flat fronted aesthetic as Stelrad’s standard Planar design, which has proved popular with new build housing developers.
However, it is supplied with a single section, 2mm thick integrated steel fascia, with side panels and a top grille: these additions ensure it is suitable for a busy commercial area.
London based West Leigh has won the Best Commercial Project category at the Steel Window Association (SWA) Awards 2024.
