DEWALT has announced the launch of its pneumatic nailers range, which comprises an assortment of fixing and fastening products for framing, flooring and similar construction applications.
Designed to provide a low maintenance solution for frequent users, the pneumatic nailers are suitable for large scale projects. The nailers boast reduced running costs and suffer no loss of power at low temperature.
As they do not comprise combustion exhaust gases, they can also be used in areas with poor ventilation.
The solution also includes DEWALT’s DPC10QTC Quiet Compressor with twin outlets and roll cage, which works to protect key components of the nailers. With a noise level of 71.5/89dBA, it enables quiet onsite operation.
Selected models in the range make use of DEWALT’s Precision Point technology, which allows for accurate nail placement in confined spaces or difficult areas.
These include the company’s 18 gauge Brad nailer, and its 15 gauge angled and 16 gauge straight Finish nailers. All are available with selectable triggers.
The Precision Point pneumatic nailers have an advanced nose design: the smaller tip allows users to keep track of the nail as it is driven, permitting a more specific placement.
A work surface detection mechanism has also been incorporated to prevent the nailer from firing if the tip is not in contact with the surface, eliminating the risk of surface damage.
