Troldtekt’s natural wood acoustic panels have been specified for several harbour-front buildings in the Danish town of Sønderborg.
Designed by schmidt hammer lassen architects, Kontor C is one of the town’s office buildings, which accommodates six storeys.
Whilst the building’s interior comprises a simplistic inner atrium, its exterior façades are clad with 2,800 square metres of stylish bronzed aluminium cassettes.
Troldtekt’s natural wood acoustic panels were specified for installation on the ceilings and sides of the balconies throughout the building to ensure the creation of a sound acoustic environment.
Manufactured with natural wood fibres, the panels provide sound absorption, durability and natural breathability. They also offer Cradle to Cradle silver level sustainability.
The acoustic panels are available in three grades, from ultrafine to coarse. They can be left untreated, or painted in a variety of RAL colours.
