Wienerberger launches new Smeed Dean Weathered Yellow brick

  • 11 Apr 2016

Wienerberger has launched a new version of its Smeed Dean Weathered Yellow Stock, which offers an even greater colour consistency as well as its trademark spotting effect, synonymous with traditional London yellow stock bricks.

The latest Smeed Dean Weathered Yellow brick includes an authentic dark weathered effect on the face of the bricks, ideal for matching and blending into existing buildings or for giving a new build an aged appearance.

The Smeed Dean factory is the last remaining brick factory in Kent and the only brick factory that specialises in the product of London yellow stock bricks. Its bricks have been featured in some of London’s most iconic buildings including Buckingham Palace.

Richard Brown, Wienerberger’s Category Marketing Manger for Wall, commented: “We’re very pleased to be able launch our new and improved Smeed Dean Weathered Yellow Stock.

Traditional London yellow stocks are in high demand and the Smeed Dean name has a rich heritage producing these types of bricks. Adding this fantastic brick to our Smeed Dean range further enhances our market leading offering for these types of products.”
