REHAU's new Polytec animation

New animation looks inside REHAU’s Polytec 50 curtain walling

  • 3 Jun 2016

REHAU has created a new animation to demonstrate the inner-workings of its Polytec composite curtain walling system.

The animation looks behind the aluminium exteriors of the curtain walling to reveal the steel sections at the core of the system and the PVC-U on the inside.

The video, posted on REHAU’s dedicated YouTube channel, explains the structural benefits of using steel, which is up to three times stronger than aluminium sections with the same geometry. The system features a PVC-U interior which is low maintenance, warm to the touch and available in any RAL colour.

Polytec is a triple strength glazed curtain walling system which combines the benefits of aluminium, steel and PVC-U to deliver real performance benefits over conventional aluminium systems, whilst retaining slim sightlines and an extensive range of colour options.

It is a Passivhaus Trust A Plus certified product, successfully tested to the CWCT (Centre for Window and Cladding Technology) standards for severe weather performance.
