This year’s Patient First exhibition will feature a range of security solutions from Abloy UK, who will also be discussing current trends such as the shift towards keyless locking integration.
Abloy UK will be showcasing its security solutions on stand J22 including its PROTEC2 CLIQ, Traka21, SMARTair, cabinet locks and radio-frequency identification (RFID).
Most recently used as a remote management solution for electronic master-key systems at Scunthorpe Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, the PROTEC2 CLIQ provides comprehensive audit trails on medicine cabinet cylinders and padlocks and features the ability to remove lost or stolen keys from the system.
PROTEC2 CLIQ can be combined with Traka21 key management system, providing nurses’ access to a single key for the duration of their shift by entering a unique PIN code. This allows them access to a specific key which is validated via a wall programming unit, meaning they can access every cabinet they are authorised to open.
For a complete security solution, specifiers can fit cabinets and lockers with an RFID lock to secure patients belongings.
Patient First 2016 will take place at ExCel London between 22nd – 23rd November, aimed at those operating within the NHS and independent healthcare sectors.
