VELUX’s Modular Skylights (VMS) have been granted an Archiproducts Design Award in the Building Shell category.
The Archiproducts Design Awards were established to promote and recognise companies which believe in the value of architectural projects.
In addition, it aims to celebrate design, innovation and progress around the world, and encourage others to do the same.
Developed in conjunction with Foster + Partners, VMS products have been designed for the benefit of architects: they offer sustainable, modular solutions for glass roofs in large building spaces.
The skylights can be combined in a variety of configurations, to create bespoke rooflight solutions for an assortment of different building types. They allow architects to spend less time specifying solutions, and more time designing them.
Boasting an impressive energy performance and an expected lifespan of at least 40 years, the VMS products also benefit from high sustainability credentials.
