Recofloor will be travelling across the UK, visiting all its participating flooring distributors this summer to support flooring distributors with the UK’s award-winning waste vinyl flooring recycling scheme founded by Polyflor and Altro.
Following the annual Recofloor Awards 2017 event on March 29th, the team will gear up for their ‘grand flooring distributor tour’. The event was held at the Kia Oval cricket ground in London this year, Celebrating members’ achievements.
Recofloor’s 66 flooring distributor members will be contacted during April and May to arrange a convenient time to visit and from June to September, the team will be offering Toolkbox Talks at distributors’ premises as well as helping with customer events, Trade Days and other promotional activities.
Project Coordinator for Recofloor, Carla Eslava explains that it will be a great opportunity to learn more about how the company and its customers can engage more with the scheme that can offer significant savings on disposal costs.
“We are happy to attend trade days, flooring shows or any promotional event to support your Recofloor membership and commitment to waste vinyl flooring recycling,” Carla added.
By collecting and recycling waste vinyl flooring, there are more than 700 collectors across the UK benefitting from a sustainable scene. Therefore, members are able to cut their disposal costs by up to 75% by recycling their smooth and safety vinyl offcuts and roll ends, uplifted smooth vinyl ad luxury vinyl tiles (LVT).
