BMBI shortlisted for ‘Best Use of Data and Insight’ at national CIM Awards

  • 14 Feb 2017

The Builders Merchant Building Index has been shortlisted for ‘Best Use of Data and Insight’ at the national Chartered Institute of Marketing’s (CIM) ‘Marketing Excellence Awards’.

The CIM Awards aim to identify and reward outstanding marketing by organisations, individuals and teams nationally with high standards of quality and integrity in the field of marketing, celebrating the finest minds within the profession and showcasing the successes of B2C and B2B marketing campaigns.

High profile organisations such as Google, LinkedIn and IBM will be  judging the event. The BMBI reliably provides an up-to-date measure of UK Repair Maintenance & Improvement (RMI) activity and since its launch by MRA Marketing in 2015, awareness and understanding of BMBI has grown rapidly.

A panel of leading industry Experts who speak exclusively for their markets is an integral part of the Index. Knauf Insulation, Alumasc Water Management Solutions and IKO PLC are just some of the experts. In order to make sense of trends for users of the BMBI, each expert adds perspective and context to the data.

Through the use of new data available to the channel, the BMBI is helping to put construction on the map and highlights the importance of quality insights on which to make smart business decisions, says GfK Trade Channel Manager Ricky Coombes.
