Video of the Week: Kee Klamp slope fittings

Buildingtalk’s Video of the Week showcases the new range of Kee Klamp slope fittings. Designed for easier construction of handrails on staircases, slopes and other inclines, the Kee Klamp 11˚-30˚ and 30˚-45˚ fittings are both quick and easy to install.

Kee Klamp recently expanded its slope fitting range beyond the standard 11˚-30˚ offering with the introduction of 12 new types of tubular fittings. The expanded range allows for a streamlined installation and improves the aethetics of finished handrails that would have previously required multiple fittings.

The new range of slope fittings is available in the two most common sizes for handrails; size 7 (outside diameter 42.4mm) and size 8 (outside diameter 48.3mm).

Designed for use with steel tubing to BS EN 10255, Kee Klamp cast iron fittings support an axial load of 900kg per set screw tightened to a torque of 4Kgm (39 Nm). The fittings require no cutting or welding and can be manually adjusted to the required angle for the handrail.
