The Glass and Glazing Federation has been announced as an official event partner for Materials 2017, a new exhibition focused on material solutions for architecture, construction and design.
Taking place at London’s ILEC Centre between 25th – 26th April, Materials 2017 is being launched from a collaboration between netMAGmedia Ltd and Schindler, combining over 40 years of knowledge and experience within the construction sector.
The exhibition will showcase a wide range of products including ceramics, cement, stone, brick, and timber, as well as glass, concrete, metal and smart materials.
It will focus on not only their use in creating striking designs but also their potential functionalities beyond their common purposes within building structures, envelope, façades and finishes.
The GGF will also exhibit at the event at Stand 10 and will be contributing to an already packed conference programme which includes speakers from Aecom, Arup, Tata Steel and Saint-Gobain.
A specialist technical seminar focused on glass and moderated by GGF Senior Technical Officer Russell Day (pictured) will also take place at 3pm on the 25th April at the event.
