Specflue invites you to HETAS Live! On Wednesday, May 31st at Specflue’s training centre in Sudbury, Suffolk.
The event is free to attend and will take place between 4pm and 6pm. Dennis Milligan from the Stove Industry Alliance will be speaking at the event about the details of Ecodesign 2022.
Installers, chimney sweeps, retailers, specifiers, architects and local authority building control officers will have the opportunity to tour Specflue’s high-tech training facilities and meet HETAS representatives at event.
Specflue offers a suite of HETAS training courses for solid fuel, wood and biomass, specifically designed for installers, chimney sweeps, retailers, specifiers, local authorities, building control officers and those involved in the wood fuel supply chain.
The stove industry’s main suppliers have pledged to ensure that all newly-designed wood-burning stove models will meet European environmental standards for particulate emissions, which are not due to be enforced until 2022. This includes the launch of a new ‘SIA Ecodesign-ready’ stamp.
Mr Milligan will explain this and other aspects of Ecodesign 2022 in greater detail at the event.
