Megaman worked with client and interior designers Evince Design & Consultants to create a warm and welcoming environment for the new Japan Home Store in Sengkang, Singapore.
Megaman recommended energy and cost saving LED lighting that would still deliver the same warm and welcoming effect, as well as significant energy and cost savings, as the originally specified 50W halogens. A mix of exposed track lighting, recessed downlighters and pendants all containing Megaman 2,800k colour temperature lamps were included in the updated specification.
MEGAMAN MOSAIC track lighting was installed along the exposed air conditioning pipework and 330 MEGAMAN PAR16 7W GU10 Dimmable LEDs in a warm colour temperature (2,800K) and wide beam angle (35°) were chosen to ensure the industrial shelving was bathed in warm light.
This therefore provided Japan Home with it’s required modern and industrial look whilst creating a cosy mood with warmer lighting tones.
MEGAMAN’s MAX recessed downlighters were fitted with 38 MEGAMAN PAR16 7W Dimmable LEDs to create a focal point over the tills. The moveable retail display areas were lit by pendant fittings utilising 39MEGAMAN Classic dimmable 13W E27 LEDs.
Megaman helped to ensure that the lighting design concept was fully realised by working with the project team to provide technical support.
