VELUX has achieved the accolade of ‘Marketing Team of the Year’ at the Marketing Society Star Awards. The judges commended its recent campaigns to drive demand within the roof window market.
Celebrating success in PR and marketing, the Marketing Society Star Awards were held in Glasgow on Thursday 8th June.
VELUX was presented with three awards – a gold and two silver – for its campaign to promote the benefits of its roof window systems in single storey extensions. It also achieved a silver award for the successful launch of its white-painted window range.
The company obtained two further gold awards for its extension campaign at PRCA Scotland DARE, which was held in Edinburgh on the same night.
‘At VELUX, we strive to live up to, and surpass, our customers’ expectations,’ says Jim Coates, the company’s Commercial Director. ‘We’re constantly developing new and attractive products that can help to create better homes by introducing daylight and fresh air through the roof.’
The company successfully increased demand within the roof window market by educating homeowners on the benefits of adding VELUX roof windows to their extension projects.
‘This year, we’re aiming to deliver further growth across all of our core home improvement markets, including loft conversions and flat roof extensions,’ continues Jim.
