New View Windows, a Cornish manufacturer and installer of trade and residential fenestration, is using SFS intec’s Dynamic 2D-C hinges in the construction of its composite doors.
Composite doors offer a solution for homeowners looking to reduce external noise and make savings on their energy bills. They offer structural rigidity and resistance against the elements; a particularly important quality for New View’s Cornwall-based customers.
New View Windows’ complete range of composite doors are fabricated using Liniar profile systems, which make use of SFS intec’s Dynamic 2D-C hinge.
‘Having achieved PAS024 and Secured by Design on our PVC-U entrance doors, we wanted to ensure our expanding composite doors range offered a consistently high-build quality,’ comments the company’s Managing Director, Tony Braddon (pictured above on the left, with SFS intec’s Rod Johnson), when questioned about the choice of Liniar profiles with SFS intec hinges.
The hinges offer a combination of security and durable weather resistance, without compromising on aesthetics.
The new Dynamic 2D-C hinge boasts the same benefits as the original Dynamic range for PVC-U doors: it is adjustable, durable, CE certified, and compliant with PAS024 requirements and current door testing.
The hinge has a unique patented lateral adjustment of +/- 3mm, with a double pin design that gives +/- 4mm up and down. It boasts a high load carrying capacity of 40kg, which prevents the door from dropping.
The slimline product is available in six standard colours, with the option to order bespoke shades.
