Senior Architectural Systems has provided a highly visible and attractive glazed facade for a new Mercedes Benz Inchcape car showroom in Cheshire Oaks.
Fletcher Smith Architects designed the new car showroom and Crystal Architectural Aluminium installed and fabricated the facade for main contractor Hantall Developments.
The main facade features Senior’s SF52 aluminium curtain walling which is suitable for use in the retail sector due to attractive slim sightlines.
The facade offers enhanced thermal efficiency for a more comfortable internal environment and has low U-values that help reduce the overall carbon calculations of car showroom schemes, that are traditionally heavily dependent on the use of artificial lighting and air conditioning.
In addition, the use of the SPW600 aluminium windows and commercial SD doors were used alongside Senior’s SF52 curtain walling, providing a light and welcoming space for customers.
