Megaman’s Dino LED batten range was recently used to refurbish a bikes and accessories supplier, Pedal On.

img 3The Hampshire bike store displays over 250 bikes on the shop floor, leading to a refurbishment that was display led. Therefore, Megaman’s 63W Dino LED battens were supplied by Wilson Electrical in Basingstoke to create an even and bright distribution of light.

The battens produce up to 6500 lumens, with a colour temperature of 4000K and offer a 50,000-hour lamp life. In addition, the considerable increase in light due tot he beam angle of 120 degrees gives the store great visibility and have reduced the store’s electricity costs by over 64%.

img 1Matthew Cracknell, Sales Assistant at Pedal On, explained: “What was once a predominantly dark shop has been transformed into a bright and open space. The 120-degree light emission ensures that the light is evenly distributed, so even the bikes stored in the highest stands are easily visible.”

With a tough polycarbonate body, Dino LEDs are IP66 rated against water and dust ingress as well as being corrosion proof. The Megaman Dino range is also IK08 rated, ideal for use in high risk public areas.
