Luxury oak vinyl tiles from Polyflor have been used to refurbish the interior of the gym at the Rhondda Sports Centre.
Heavy commercial, high-design tiles from the Affinity255 PUR range in Harvest Oak and Huckleberry Oak design were installed in the reception, gym floor and circulation areas at the Welsh establishment.
The installation was part of the large scale makeover of the sports centre’s gym, which is now twice size it was originally. The 100 station gym features treadmills, bikes, cross trainers and rowing machines.
The Affinity255 range features 16 authentically reproduced wood plank designs, which replicate the natural variations found in solid wood through the use of tonal hues and surface textures.
It is 100% recyclable via the Recofloor vinyl take back scheme and contains an average of 40% recycled content. Product samples can be ordered for free of charge on the Polyflor website or by calling 0161 767 2551.
Polyflor also offer ‘Sport 67’, a type of indoor sports flooring that is available in blue, green and a maple wood effect. Widely specified for college, school and local authority sports halls, the product conforms to the European standard for sports flooring and meets all Sports England requirements.
