Fensterbau features healthy UK feel thanks to GGF

The FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2018 is sure to feature a considerable UK presence; hosted by the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF), it will see a number of the country’s glazing industry’s highest profile organisations line up.

In 2016, the GGF fuelled the UK Pavilion within the exhibition, with the GGF has more than doubling the size of the Pavilion this time around, with 200 square metres reserved to home the 12 British companies set to be there, as over 100,000 trade visitors are expected from a massive international market.

Taking place in Nuremberg, Germany, from 21 to 24 March, it showcases the worldwide innovations in windows, doors and facades.

Architects, carpenters, window and facade manufacturers, and the specialist trade will be on hand to talk about the latest profile systems, glass in architecture, fixing equipment, hardware, safety equipment, machines, installations and many more products.

The GGF feature amongst six companies who co-exhibited at the 2016 edition who have signed up once again for the world’s biggest international trade fair for the window industry. The other five are:

• Clearview – the UK leading trade magazine for the glazing sector
• Glazpart – the leader in plastic glazing accessories and ventilation
• GQA Qualifications – the Glazing Industry’s Specialist Awarding Body
• RITEC International – developer and manufacturer of the only complete system for glass renovation, ‘non-stick’ protection and maintenance
• The FIT Show – the UK’s award-winning glass and glazing industry trade show

Furthermore, five new co-exhibitors have joined the UK Pavilion for 2018.

James Lee, GGF Director of Group Marketing, reflected on the new additions to the UK Pavilion at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2018.

“We are delighted to welcome the five new co-exhibitors on board. We received a lot of interest after the event in 2016 so planned for a greater presence in 2018.

“Each of the five “new” companies joining us, will add more to the UK Pavilion with a greater range of products and demonstrations on show,” he said.

“We now have 11 co-exhibitors signed up for the UK Pavilion at Fensterbau 2018 and the plans are gathering real momentum.

“With more companies, products, demonstrations and presentations it promises to be an amazing show for all our co-exhibitors and those visiting the UK Pavilion.”

The UK Pavilion will see participating companies hold product promotions, videos, demonstrations and presentations, as well as the opportunity for extensive networking. The GGF are also set to release plans for a special shindig held on the Pavilion, in the form of a British Reception.
