Freefoam have launched a trio of new short videos to promote the business online and via social media, showcasing the faces behind the product, alongside the production and distribution facilities located in Northampton.
Each give an in-depth insight into how pvc building products are made and distributed from beginning to end.
With social media now a vital part of a company’s marketing strategy, Freefoam are dedicated to creating high quality, interesting, up to date content; with video the ideal way of achieving this.
It quickly engages with existing and prospective customers, with Social Media agency Mind Made conducting filming over three days utilising drone, GoPro and steadicam technologies to observe the busy operation.
The production facility video contains Freefoam’s 21 metre high ‘mixing’ plant, and 3,840 square metre manufacturing plant, showing how the virgin powder is mixed and blended to produce the raw material, which is then heated and processed on extrusion lines to create products including fascia, soffit and guttering.
Processing more than 500,000 product lines across the year takes careful coordination and accuracy between Distribution and Customer teams; the video highlights how products are stored, picked, packaged and despatched to customers nationwide.
Colin St John, Commercial Director at Freefoam, expressed his delight at the films.
“They show the scale of our operation in a dynamic and informative way and how our team work hard to make and deliver first class building materials,” he said.
“The essence of the project was to showcase the scale of our operation, the varied processes that go in to manufacturing a plastic product and last but not least we wanted to recognise our teams – the people behind the product.”
