Kingspan OPTIM-R Balcony & Terrace System has helped create eight stunning properties have been created by Quay Developments Conwy Ltd, offering first class homes in Glan Conwy.
This collection of detached and semi-detached homes provide modern living for adventurers and nature-lovers alike.
The Reserve in Glan Conwy is a site which opens out onto Conwy Estuary and is surrounded by stunning vistas such as Conwy Castle and The Snowdonia Mountain Range, in addition to being a short distance from the marinas.
Guy Pritchard from Quay Developments Conwy Ltd commented: “Each property has an amazing roof-top terrace which is perfect for taking in the views over The Estuary and Conwy Castle.
“They are also fully equipped with high specification fixtures and fittings for effortless and elegant living, including the installation of the Kingspan OPTIM-R Balcony & Terrace System.”
The system was laid under a rubber waterproof membrane on the terraces and provides an even transition between the indoor and outdoor levels.
As part of the Kingspan OPTIM-R system, OPTIM-R flex infill strips are supplied in the same thickness as the OPTIM-R panels.
The infill strips were cut to size and used to provide full coverage for the terraces’ insulation requirements, achieving a U-value of 0.18 W/m2.k with minimal build-up, guaranteeing the product did not encroach on the development’s usable space.
When installed to Kingspan Insulation’s guidelines, the Kingspan OPTIM-R Balcony & Terrace System can provide outstanding long term thermal performance over the lifetime of a building.
